I graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX back in the Spring of 2017. Since then, I have struggled to find full time work as an elementary school teacher. I am currently working as a substitute teacher to keep getting experience and continue learning new things that I can hopefully apply in my own classroom one day. Until then, I'm just living that paycheck-to-paycheck life with my wonderful husband and our furbabies.

My goal with this blog is to share what it is like to live a life that doesn't go exactly as planned...ever. My generation is consumed with social media (myself included) and sometimes it can portray a false sense of reality. Everyone's lives look so put together and happy that it can be really hard not to get down on yourself when you can't relate. My goal for this blog is to be a safe space where we can get real about the "real world".
